Was watching season 1, and something from Exodus 2 which had occured to me last year, ummm, re-occured to me now.
Hurley comes on board OA 815 last and as he proceeds down the aisle something curious goes on between he and Walt, a knowing look from Hugo, beaming smile from Walt, and then Hurley takes his seat and pulls out the Lanterna Verde comic. So, was it just one of the many peculiar Lost things that come and go without explanation...or was it something more deep and possibly a MAJOR CLUE?

Later, on the beach, Walt is seen reading the comic, and even tells Michael he found it in the debris. Hurley either:
1) doesnt ever see Walt with his mag, which I doubt
2) doesnt mind letting a kid read his comic, or
3) possibly just DOES'NT REMEMBER that he owned the comic book to begin with...
Could the Lost Kahunas be subtly telling us that something happened to our gang that has impacted on their memories? We dont really still believe that 80 people could survive an air crash from 30,000 feet do we?
