I dont recall her ever blaiming her mother for driving....looked it up, here's the transcript via lostpedia:
CLAIRE: A truck forced us off the road.
BARNES: Okay, and who was driving?

As for sun being innocent of murder- she shot one of the others, Colleen Pickett, while on Des' boat. Bernard killed others when he shot the explosives during the season three tent raid. Rose- she's golden.
