I didn't notice Claire's ring in the episode when I rewatched it (can ya believe that) and ya can't see her and in the screen cap. I did notice that you could not see Charlie's DS ring.. Hmmm forshadowing??

I noticed that but, he would be the 4th in that group.. There are 3 people who don't have a group, Ben, Hurley, Desmond.. There are all groups of 3 when ya look at it this way, which kinda fits what we were saying about groups of 3... Makes me wonder if Hurley, Ben and Desmond play some big roll later somehow..

Well yes I would agree about the story behind the watch it was kinda bad.. I like the symbolism. That once Jack is coming upon the walk through metal detector (the time portal) and then once through he checked out by Ben... There time stops... Hmmm I like
