Of course everyone's entitled to their own opinions, but that's how I see LOST
Sure that dichotomies (ex: backgammon game) & issues like redemption are motifs part of the story. But I think that if all were to come down to some ultimate moral judgment, the show would lose its uniqueness and complexity, and LOST would just turn into some other story in the likes of tens of other pop culture/entertainment items already available.

I think it wont be possible anymore for lost to fall down from its pedestal and land between other entertainment series. Even if the end game would be extremely sloppy and unsatisfactory it is still amazing what we have seen so far.
Take us, we are presented to the same dots but we are drawing a whole different picture. Not possible in, among others, prison break, 24, heroes.
One of the reasons I joined this forum is that im wondering what pictures others drew so far and how much they deviate from my own. My best hopes are that I take a glimpse of a picture that feels more right or is logically more coherent then my own.
So… what does your picture look like so far?

how did you connect all the dots?
