Something about it doesn't add up. The captain already has the black box (shown to Des / Sayid in 4.07) and says it took a considerable amount of effort on the part of Widmore to 'procure' it. Why bother salvaging it from the bottom of an ocean trench if he staged the wreckage in the first place? The black box looked pretty beaten up, as I'm sure they're really bright orange to make finding them easier, they're only called 'black boxes' after their inventor. Is it the box from the REAL 815 ? Michael seemed pretty sure Widmore faked it, but it wouldn't be like Ben to lie to him to get what he wanted would it? lol
