I've been thinking why I hate Michael. Not so much about his killing of Ana Lucia and Libby but more about that annoying attitude he had towards Sawyer when Others took Walt off the their boat. So I don't know if it's a matter of betrayal or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if Michael's going to do something weird just for his own agenda. "I want my son!" seems to me just some facade for this guilt ridden egotistic semi father-figure.
