I know for fact that is Korean. Two of the characters say Jin's name in Korean. As for the lack of circles usually found in the Korean language if you look closely at the small symbols on Jin's Tombstone you'll see plenty of them. As for the writing always being written left to right, rather than up and down, it can be seen in Korean temples, signs for business, and as we saw in last night's episode Tombstones.
