Not sure. Was it seen in the background during a shot or did the camera focus on it specifically? If it was specific shot that the director used then I would say it was definitely important. But if it was just in the background then maybe not.

I also think that this map might have come from the Black Rock Ledger that Widmore bought at the auction. But that would mean that the author of the Ledger would have had to have been on the island. So how did the Ledger get off the island? We know it didn't go aboard the Black Rock

I think Harper having a certificate with the Hanso Foundation logo on it means that she definitely has or had some kind of a relationship with the Hanso Foundation. I don't think that necessarily proves that she was a member of the Dharma Initiative like Horace was, but it's probably a pretty safe bet.
And if she was a member of the Dharma Initiative then why was she spared and Horace wasn't? Ben seemed sadden that Horace was killed in the purge.
