I dunno if it was Locke's "right" or not (there's no over-riding bill of rights on a deserted island), but, IMO that scene where Locke beats on Charlie was this season's MAJOR TURNING POINT...the Island is doing what it does best....testing / making people crazy.

...did'nt Danielle say that the 'sickness' kicked in at about the 2 month mark of her crew's ordeal, and that she had been 8 months' pregnant when their wreck happenned, à la Claire? if I'm right, Aaron's a goner...
