what a lot of writers in literary technique strive for the "suspension of disbelief" in their readers (in our case, watchers). The idea is to keep us believing in that world. Like Scheherazade and her 1001 adventurous tales she tells to stay alive; lost is keeping the adventure going but forcing us to continually ask questions. you might think that you are hating the show, but you are asking so many questions, it shows that it is actually engaging you. I think they have done a fantastic job by revealing the answers to some mysteries and yet creating a tapestry so rich that there are ever more and more.
