The first one "The Lost Experience" was promoted as not essential to watching the show (if my failing memory doesn't fail me, but it had great background stuff! I love it!) The second ARG - "Find815" - has actually had show crossover with the mention of the Christiane I finding the plane in the Sunda Trench.
