Seems to me that her going back with Sawyer and lying about the guns was odd. Also, I noticed her face was a look of shock when Sawyer killed the big guy. Almost as though to say "that wasn't supposed to happen". I also get the sense that the show was trying to lead us to believe Ben is losing control of the others but I think he and Juliet had a plan all along for her to get in good with the losties but what happened on the beach was not supposed to happen. Remember they didn't even kill the three captives but instead shot in the sand. They KNEW someone--maybe Jack--was going to come back and THAT is who they really wanted--along with the pregnant women.

I really don't think there was a lot of 'new' information on this show like the season finale last year but instead they left the story hanging. Who does Naomi work for? What is going to happen if they come 'rescue' them? Is Jack's flash forward a reality he cannot avoid or is it simply a possibility? Is Ben gonna die? Does Locke become the new leader of the others? Does Locke go back to see Jacob? What is the temple? Where is the temple? Where did the original 'hostiles' come from?

I think the face you are referring to is just that of her not liking to see Tom die. i think we can all agree Tom was likeable for an OTHER( he cold evoke some sort of sympathy.)

I still don't trust Juliet or Ben. I agree that they could still be in cohoots and working together.

I have always believed that Juliet is just a victim of circumstance. I think from here on out Juliet's character is going to be pretty straight forward. What you see is what you get. She explained her lie about the guns and I believe her. It was the only way Jack would willingly let them go back to the beach.
I've said it before and I'll say it again. Juliet's FBs show her to be a compassionate, caring person who was F'd over by her power hungry ex husband. She is/was an intelligent doctor and came to the island with the intention to help people.
anyways Juliet is a good person IMO and always has been.

I agree. I haven't seen anything that makes me believe that Juliette is as bad as some people think. Yes, she has done some bad things, because she had no real choice. Ben saw to that. I think she was put in a spot where she had to do what she was told untill she could find a way out. She's flawed just like the rest of them, but I don't think she is still working with Ben. She hates him and all the things she feels he forced her to do. As for her reaction to Tom's death... Hurley was as shocked as she was and, he had just ran one of them over. Hurley had a gudge, after Libby's death. Juliette may of still had some fondness for Tom after living on the island with him for 3 years. Lets not forget it's not easy to watch someone you've known that long die. Lastly SHE WANTS TO GO HOME! Ben will never let that happen. Jack is doing everything in his power to see that it will.

first post here, i dont think tom was likeable as an other to sawyer. i think sawyer killed tom because (1) he took walt from the raft and i think he swore he was gonna get tom back for that or (2) when sawyer, kate and jack had bags on their head from being captured (season2), sawyer was mad at tom the whole time. does that make sense? season3 had us forgetting what tom has done in the past, so i dont think we all can agree he was a likeable character. what do u guys think? cheers.

as for Tom, I think as an audience member, I was not hating him like I was certain other Others...I didn't like him when he took Walt, but once we got to know him, he didn't seem so bad a guy. But from Sawyer's perspective, he always had this thing against him for the raft incident, and has even said to him, "we ain't done, Zeke" (or something like that) so him shooting Tom was a resolution for Sawyer for something that's been brewing since the raft.

I believe that Juliet left with Sawyer because she was in serious danger once the plan at the beach had failed.

She knew both that the Losties' position and destination had become known to the Others and also that her newfound alliance was now public. If she stayed, she risked immediate capture and a death sentence. Under the circumstances, the trek to the beach was her only option.

Swayer killed tom because of all the things he did and because swayer did say in season 2 that this is not over.
