shes like us... at work, but surfing the web and waiting to find des... and then all the suden an island reciever appears so she transmits with her old school home transmitter.

um...yeah. Right. Except that she didn't know where the transmission was coming from. She didn't seem to know it was from The Island.

yes she did. she had the snow station monitoring the south pacific. when they found a general area ( from the Swan explosion ) shes been sweeping the area since.

it just like that sattalite phone or your own cell phone. when there is siglan or connection it tells you. ( look i have 4 bars) she saw that there was a signal being broadcast on some frequency in the south pacific region where desmond dissappeard into the storm... and responded

Plus now that all the signal-blocking devices have been shut off her search signal can get through - she's like Jody Foster in "Contact" sitting around night and day listening for something.... She got the $$$ to afford it.
