Mr. Eko
Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

Ben seems like the kind of guy to always be thinking ahead. If the sub is blown up I suspect Ben secretly has another one. If Ben gives Michael a boat I suspect Ben secretly has another one. Something is flying overhead and making food drops, maybe there's already a runway, but it's always good to have a backup plan.

I think maybe the others have been posing as dharma for along time so they can gather outside info, get food drops, and keep other dharma people from coming. I believe naomi was from dharma sent there to find out what had happened, there would be no other way to communicate because of the jamming equipment. maybe that is why locke killed naomi because he now knew the island needed protection from the outside world. (jacob/walt?) told him he had work to do.

The funny thing is, the Others who were overseeing Kate and Sawyer and the anonymous others doing the work, were looking at plans. Perhaps they were continuing the work of Dharma because they believed that what Dharma was striving for was noble, even if the people running Dharma were not.

I never understood exactly what Kate and Sawyer were doing with the rocks. Were they just moving the rocks from one place to another?
Sawyer never seemed to have to haul them very far.

Good question.
I thought that the rock thing was some sort of punishment program. Sort of like in the movie Cool Hand Luke, where they had Paul Newman move stuff from one side of the yard to the other.
