Clues that it was a "flash-forward"

I noticed in the second to last scene, when jack was on the floor, that the floor was covered with maps, and that the map behind him was of the pacific. Pretty nuts.

That was when I knew it was a flash-forward scene.

same here. it made me reaaally wonder who ws coming out of that car

I also noticed that someone said to Jack, "You're a hero; that's twice now", or something to that effect in the Flash-forward; insinuating that he was a hero the first time for getting everyone off the island, but it still took me until Kate came out of the car to piece it together, I was expecting this episode to be a flashback taking place sometime between Jack getting the tattoo (would have explained why he flew back) and going to Sydney to collected his (and Claire's) father's body.

I had thought maybe it was a flash forward except they kept referencing Christian Shepard as being alive. I still think it was, but am confused now as to how much things have changed.

This episode has left me hanging. I am so curious to know how they got off and is it over??? i mean there was no preview for next season or anything.

I'm still tring to figure out what I just watched. Jack said to Kate That they should not have left. So there off the island? He said to go get s father and if he was more drunk than his dad.... So his dad is alive? I will be thinking about this one for a long time.

also jack had a sweet phone that was introduced in 2007
