Dr. Juliet Burke

Dr. Juliet Burke (née Carlson) is a member of the Others. She seems unhappy with her allegiance (particularly, it seems, with Ben's position of authority), and lives at the Barracks. Juliet is a calm, intelligent woman with a background in medicine, but unhappy with her private life and will do anything to get off the Island. However, it seems Juliet has betrayed her people and joined the survivors in wanting off the island.

not necessarily...he could consider juliet not a friend either because she was an other and against them for so long.

Exclamation Not Ben...
Ben? Kind of doubtful... anyone have a DVR? We went back, reviewed & replayed & zoomed in (50" HD Plasma)

First Name (on the obituary tear-out Jack was carrying) started with a "J" and last name ended with ...tham - made reference to being "of New York", living in a loft, and "Man's Body Found"...

im actually starting to think it is jacob. i saw the news paper clipping and it seems to say Ja-... ...-antham. we dont know his last name so...

I don't believe that the answer to who is in the coffin can be found on the paper clipping. I think the writers are teasing the heck out of us with it, giving us just enough info to make us get a brain hemmorage trying to see something that isn't there. They are saving that little tidbit for another finale. I am sure putting a "J" within view was a well thought out plan to drive us insane.

I was thinking Locke or Ben. Ben because if Jack is so distraught that they are not on the island anymore, he may have respect for Ben enough to go to his funeral, because he was right. And Locke because he tried to get him to put the phone down.

There are better shots of the paper than this one, that has been passed around. I couldn't take them on my TV, as it isn't super powered or anything.
