No its not the end of lost. That whole flashback was crazy the way it was supposed to be the future.

yeah i had a feeling that it might of been the future. there were some clues. in the scene before the last, where jack was on the floor, there were a ton of maps on the floor, and map behind him was of the pacific ocean . What an episode, what a show. This show and Avatar: the last airbender, best shows on tv. but man.... what a way to end the show.

I really was dissapointed.
VERY, actually.
It didn't "Change everything" like Envangelline said it would or Canadian viewers who watched it before me, in the US. I was very dissapointed.
But omfg @ Naomi/penny wtfff!?!?!??!
And Charlie, I knew it was coming but ahhh so tragic yet beautiful.

Hurley's van rush was awesome. Go big guy! And I was going to write angry letters if they killed off Sayid, Jin and Bernard. This was awesome. I liked the flash forwards. I wonder if these are merely a glimpse of what could be. Like the future is changable (a la Heroes.)

it did change everything...and since they have 2 seasons left or so...your not gonna get much more major changes...things gotta be explained sometime, were probably at the climax of the lost story now.

but the survivors actually winning for a chance is a major change, as well as whether their goal to be rescued is as important and good as they think it is. you noticed there was no more negotiating as usual, which often resulted in some sort of draw back for the survivors, and hampering how much we find out. the story is left more in the hands of the survivors rather than the Others for once, and the plot is pushed in a new direction. So yes, things were changed, just not like you wanted them to be.

They killed a good portion of the Others, including Tom. And the rest back at camp are beginning to turn against Ben anyway. The Losties might not have much of a battle left.

I was also impressed with Charlie's Jack Bauer-like charisma under torture!
