I'm with you, it did look "bible like" when Walt showed up. It was very bright in the back ground and he didn't sound the same. Didn't think about him being Jacob.

Interesting how Walt appeared to Shannon several times. He even tried to warn her by motioning for her to be quiet so she wouldn't get shot. Now here we have Walt in another helpful role. However, this time he succeeds in the saving. Is it really Walt or a projection of Walt? I'm not so sure. But we do know that he is "special" and maybe connected to Jakob. Or perhaps Jakob just appeared to him in the form of Walt in order to inspire him, you never know.

But seriously. Walt. psycho... and older. i am sure they have already begun if not filmed anything they need of him. they dont want the hary potter syndrome to happen.

and i must say. him giving Locke the hope and enthusiasm to get up was awesome. thats the first good things he has done... ever!

It probably were jacob because locke got some kind of a contact with him that's why ben tried to kill locke.

It was Walt! It had to be... when Locke looked up he even whispered 'Walt?'

Obviously he looks older because it has been almost 2 years since we last saw him in Season 2.

I also agree that it did seem kind of bible gimmicky

Rember what Bea Klugh said Has Walt appeared in a place he wasn't supposed to be? This means maybe walt can appear in two places at the same time. Maybe walts at thsi temple, or at home.. But i think that thats is him not jacob.. But i think that jacob told walt to help him..

I doubt there going to start shooting season 4 episodes and the same time the season starts lol Despite what I used to think when i was little they don't film the next episode right after airing the one before it!

I believe Locke is seeing Walt in a 'vision'. Like Shannon did. He is not really there. How could he be there?

Of course it wasn't actually Walt. He didn't just swim back to the island.

I was so excited to see him again. If Micheal is going to be an idiot and never come back to the show that is fine but I want more Walt. They left with so many questions. Anyone else notice how old he looks.

It is the island talking to him again. Not Jacob because it hasn't even been mentioned that Jacob can change his form and be other things. It is the monster that took form of the horse, Jack's Dad, and Walt earlier.

Then would it be a monster? It is after all helping Locke and the castaways whether it's Walt, Monster, or Jacob, or just another one of Locke's visions.

I think since Walt can "be" in multiple places at once Walt hasn't left the island although that may be a bit far fetched. I still want the flash back of Walt with the others like the one where Claire is with them.
