Charlotte Malkin and Charlie drowned

I know that Charlie's death has been discussed to death, but I was just reading on DarkUFO's web site in the rumors section something I thought interesting.

Why did the show tell us about Charlotte Malkin's apparent miracle. We assume as a sign of faith for Mr. Eko, but wonder if it was to show us something else. Remember how Charlotte died? She drowned. Wonder if the writers were intimating that Charlie might have "drowned" but maybe he won't stay dead - just like Charlotte Malkin didn't stay dead!

Hmmm good point and you would think that happened for more of a reason than for Mr. Eko to get the message from his brother but who knows its LOST afterall... hehehe

It just so happens that Charlotte Malkin was only MOSTLY dead. There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead. Mostly dead is slightly alive. So Charlotte always had a fighting chance ya know. But poor Charlie he is all dead, and I think we all know that with all dead there's usually only one thing you can do.
Go through his clothes and look for loose change, or maybe guitar picks.

But seriously, it is interesting but I don't think it means anything.
I would still argue the fact that Charlie didn't have to seal himself up in that room to begin with, before I started championing Chalie's triumph return based on Charlotte's near death experience.

I agree with you Folie! I have never been a Charlie fan! (I'm fine if he stays dead - eek! did I just type that?) And I concur with you that Charlie didn't need to die. He was able to hold his breath that whole dang time to swim down to the station, but now he can't hold his breath to swim up from the station? I think he could have done something to survive. I just find it interesting that we were shown an apparent drowning victim "resurrected" (not to mention how many times Mikhail should be dead but has lived) and we witness another drowning with no confirmation of his death (you know, no corpus delicti).

Mostly dead!! Just watched the Princess Bride with my son this weekend that is so funny.. But Charlie has True Love.. Not to Blathe but True Love!

They never really said that Charlie died, did they? we presume he did, but we don't really know for sure, right???

Everything I have seen or heard says Charlie is dead.. There was even a comment about season 4 and Desmond having to deal with the guilt of Charlie's death.. I have not heard anything that he isn't but like we all know it is LOST so you never know! LOL

With all the drama and hoopla leading up to Charlie's death if they were to some how say he is still alive if would disappoint alot of fans.
