Nikki Fernandez
Nikki Fernandez was one of the middle section survivors from Flight 815 and is first introduced in "Further Instructions". She had spent most of her time on the island trying to recover the $8 million diamonds she and Paulo had stolen from Zukerman, her staged lover, before the crash. She received a Medusa spider bite that induced a deathlike paralysis and she died after being buried alive alongside Paulo.

Quite a number of people choose not to watch promos, sneak peaks, previews etc that might hint towards anything coming up in the next episodes. Doesn't matter where and how the producers feel like showing us those bits and pieces, part of audience is not interested in that. And not everybody's viewing the show via TV- so a decent portion of Lost audience is out of the conventional viewing hoop.
Personal preferences yes, but I believe, there's also individual threads for "Promos and Sneak Peaks" under each episode. It's the season finale coming up and everyone's all excited about how things might turn, but some warning could help if you're about to shoot with some extra-pilot info
(To get back to the topic of the thread)
Another thing I find interesting about Jack's plan is that it's supported by Rousseau to a great extent- earlier, we saw Rousseau expressing in numerous occasions that she's kept herself alive on the island for 16 years precisely because she avoided contact and conflict with Others. Sure the prospect of meeting Alex would be one possible (and probably, the biggest) reason of motivation, but what exactly made Rousseau change her mind and get involved more with Jack's plan-- picking the dynamites from the ship, carrying and setting them up..? I'd expect her to go not so easy with this dynamite plan...but she seems to be most into it..

You've got to suspect that a thread entitled "A Dynamite Plan?" is going to involve speculation about next week's finale episode, therefore I would think it would be reasonable and understandable that speculation and discussion of what might happen - including what has been shown in the promos - would be discussed here. I would think that a thread entitled "A Dynamite Plan?" would be an enter-at-your-own-risk for information. Sorry if you have to watch the show via alternative sites, but television is still the traditional route for a television show.
(to get back to topic, too)
I still think it is weird that a wandering Rousseau never happened upon The Flame, wouldn't get involved in anything between Mikhail and Locke, Sayid, & Kate - but now (and it is probably like Flaneuse said) after seeing Alex - she is ready to help Jack and the others, maybe for her own reasons, but still, she's helping, finally!

Title and content of this specific thread bares no necessary relation to one's sharing of promos, sneak peaks, previews or anything of that sort. The issue here is that those have a specific thread, weekly opened under the board of every episode. Now, Lost in Hazzard's sentence began "In the previews..", so I wasn't caught unprepared and knew when to scroll down to miss what I wanted to miss.. Likewise, If any future info is considered worth-sharing outside of these threads, some sort of a warning prior to it (if not a proper 'spoiler warning') is common sensical, and out of courtesy.
Watching Lost on media other than TV does not necessary suggest a limitation, due to some 'having to'. But recognizing the diversity of the viewing audience one's only a part of is sure one necessity. There are middle grounds or solutions to minor issues as such so that no body gets to read on promos, previews etc that he/she doesn't want to know about. Simple.

(Does that mean we should not theorize or speculate, because someone might accidently guess correctly?)

Ok .. personally I disagree totally. I never see these these "previews" you talk of and don't know where I would see them, but as far as I'm concerned anything that isn't part of the episode, giving away what is going to happen in the next week, is a spoiler. Theory and speculation is awesome, it's practically the main focus of this site, but saying what happens in a preview is effectively a fact not a theory and is spoiling for me what happens next week. Notice how we have a CHOICE to check the "episode information and spoilers" or we can choose to avoid it.
I don't know if we can really compromise on this. Unless there is an official rule against giving away spoilers from previews I guess you're right : I'll have to leave the site.

partof the bigger plan
If they get away with killing all 10 of the others that come to the island to capture the women then they will need to find the boat they will use to get between the two islands, if so they can get out to the rescue boat 80 miles off the coast and get rescued? too simple you hear me cry.
I think that the boat is 80 miles off the coast because the islands are encased in a barrier of reef or something hense the need for the submarine to get in and out of the barrier and get into the looking glass station. As we know michael and his son are going to make a comeback so they must be close by if the programme ends in 2010 there is no way they have made it to the mainland and got help and comeback.
Where did the original inhabitants come from? how long have they been there, were is the electricity coming from to the village and why is darma still making food drops to the Island?

Obviously, something needed to be figured out for self-defense by the time those 10 tough guys come up, but 1) Jack's plan is a little too aggressive especially when considered that Losties won't even be able to get to the whole 'hive'. Many of the Others, including their leader-types like Ben, and Richard will remain unharmed from the immediate clash, since they won't even be there. And they would be tremendously upset, to say the least. 2) That could only mean further marginalization and frustration between the groups, since Ben would not be all too pleased when he gets to hear about the means and extent of Losties fight-back..
So the blow-up plan doesn't look all great and effective to me, but sure that Losties need to protect the women and all, and a few guns won't do the thing this time. Perhaps not a decision or plan altogether fantastic, but I'm looking forward to all the tension and drama it's to cause next week..and season! I think it will change things between Others and Losties on a dramatic scale. What do you think?

the producers have said there will be an explanation for that, if and when Walt does show up...I would think its gotta be the whole thing about time not being what we think it is on the island.

Why not have a meeting with Sawyer, Sayid and Kate and figure out what to do together? In the previews Ben confronts Jack. So he knows where they are headed? And is there waiting? Juliet is an evil beast?

THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT A BIG UNEXPECTED EXPLOSION THAT SEEMS TO JAR PEOPLE. i dunno maybe its all the fircrackers i would trow at bad guys in my hometown... but i know that explosions are a suprise so i think that part of the plans is to show the OTHERS that this is it... no more letting them do what they want. As in... "we'll even blow up our own homes to keep our freedom!!!!" its a big statement to give up your livelyhood to make a stand.

ESPECIALLY when it airs the second after the episode ends in the STATES. Since the begining of lost. when LSOT ends, the promo follows over the credits... those LITERALLY are part of each episode... ALMSOT IN THE SAME VEIGN AS "previously on LOST"... and more importantly, we would never hae known there was a 6 week break this last winter were it not for those promos. We would just be assuming another one would come each week like rats in a cage. the point is... At this stage in the game. the only episode you can expect to not have a promo aired after is the season finale... but thats not always true... so if there is a next season preview i will be willing to bet you find it online in the coming months of LOSTLESNESS... before you watch the season 4 1st episode... curiosity and cats.... you get it!
