Ana-Lucia Cortez
Ana-Lucia Cortez was an ex-police officer who sat in the tail section of Flight 815 when it crashed. She took a leadership role in the group and led her party across the Island, reuniting them with the rest of the passengers. Ana was known to be very emotionally cold and her background in policing helped her with her leadership role. Ana-Lucia survived on the Island for 65 days before being shot and killed by Michael.

Thanks Cable and Amanda for a moment there I felt I was the only one who felt mislead by all the hype about this episode. I mean we all know it will end with a huge cliff hanger. So why bother spending 30 minutes of air time on Charlie. If he die’s in the next episode then I guess I can see how his flash backs might be ok, I know some of you enjoy his character and felt he deserves a proper farewell but where were Eko’s greatest hits? If we were to do this for every character the show will go no where.
I just think if the audience wanted to see a cliche emotional/love scenes we’d watch Grey’s Anatomy. ABC already has all the “love drama, final kiss moments” in that show why incorporate it in LOST. But I guess most of you enjoy that stuff so they continue incorporating it in the shows.
Frog “This show is not reality based, it is pure fantasy.” Uh no its not, the whole point of Lost is that what the “losties” are experiencing is real not fake.
Cable “And besides, Claire is sweet AND hot, I'm sure Charlie didn't meet many of those types of girls as a nobody, then a rocker, then a drug abuser!” How many times did you have to pause while you were writing this sentence because you were laughing so hard that you couldn’t believe you were actually writing this?
Two hot blonds or one semi hot Prego blond. Yes you are right
Froggie, I stand corrected, the show is clearly fantasy not reality.

LOL copin.. and i will bet you your house that claire is hotter than both those 'hot' blondes in the bed. I paused, I checked.
AND, about the dopey mooshy scenes you don't like, the show has had many of these in the past, because it did start with just our Losties, and not the Others. It became wildly popular because of these, and I understand they have to these things to keep a majority fan base. MOST people wouldn't analyze the show to death like we do here, and this was one of those episodes for them.. yet, I'm sure there are deeper meanings, and we did get some new characters and a buildup for the finally.
I'm sorry, the epi gets a 7 ou of 10 in my book, and the two blondes in the bed maybe a 4 out of 10, where Claire is a 9 out of 10.
so, over all the show is a 6 out of 10.. law of averages. This post, a 3 out of 10, since it garnered a lot of responses.

Wasn't that Nadia, Sayid's woman?

I really liked this episode - The hurriedness of the episode has really built up the suspense I have for the stupendous finale! You've got Des and Charlie in an underwater station; you have Sayid and his team going to shut down the transmission tower; Jack and Juliet's group blowing the dynamite on the Others' attack. I'm nervously excited just typing that! And what of Locke - healed? Alex, bloody-handed, taking the gun from her father? Does Karl know about Alex's real parents? I love Lost, and I thought this was a fantastic set-up-for-the-finale episode!

Same here. I loved the scene with Des and Charlie on the boat. And the amazing blow em all to hell line of Jack's.
