Although it wasn’t my favorite epi, I kind of took it as a chance to catch my breath before the final “punch in the gut” feeling of the finale. The Charlie flashbacks, in my opinion, felt like a goodbye and the small amount of time spent on the Others attacking just left more of a lead in for the big end next week...

I voted 4 however I loved it, but just like everyone else, i'm saving 5 for the Finale. I think the emotional build up for Charlie dying was imense. And this episodes favourite quote for me ..
Charlie: Because .. Your too big, you won't fit in the boat. (Hahah)

Now i'm so excited for the Finale! Great set-up Eppy.

I like Charlie and think it's stupid to kill him off. The list of his top five moments was a great idea for his flashbacks.

I voted 4 of 5. I can't give it a 5 because they left the Locke story hanging in the wind.

So in the next 2 hours they have the camp attack, Charlie and the girls in the looking glass, and the Locke story. If they leave Locke till next season, that's it I'll stop watching. (also if the season ends like last season with them tied up as shown in the coming attraction...)

Interesting theory .. but genuinly, I think she was sent by Penny. To be fair I think if they did the same kind of emotional build-up for Jack, you would'nt want him dead. Also, i'm sure they will reffer back to the Locke part of the story.

Great episode, You can see how much Charlie has grown up. He was really willing to risk his life to get Claire rescued. The end was really surprizing. Carl rocks!! hee hee

I enjoyed it! although I missed half of it on my way back from the city. All caught up now and, awww. But I still think Charlie has to die. Irrespective of anyones opinion about him, It's just time in the story arc for his character to go I think.

One thing though, why is it that everyone on this show seems to get things done by knocking out their buddies? Why didn't Charlie just insist, jump the boat and go? Why knock Desmond out? This happens a lot and it seems so weird. Why use a last resort first?

Because Des is so noble, that he would have gone too, and un-announced to them, they would have both been history.

I have loved Charlie from day one and also cried , Des told him he drowned AFTER he pushes the blinking button/light so it is still probable that he will escape those others and possibly die trying to get back . I hope not but am prepared if he does .

I also don't buy Naomi working for the others. The evidence there is that both Ben and Mikial (forgive me if I spelled his name wrong) were surprised by her presence and her Satellite phone (Man Behind the Curtain)

I rated the episode 3 stars, because I felt it really dragged on, revealing very little about anything (even less so compared to your normal episode).

It was not the best of episodes but it did get us ready for the finale which is going to be the best finele out of the 3 seasons.
