Well, Ben being surprised that the tape player was gone certainly points in the direction of Juliette being good.... I still can't trust her though.

I do not dislike or distrust Juliet because she is an "other". There are several of the others that I do like: Richard, Tom, Karl, Alex. I would never trust her because of her desperate, selfish need to get off of the island. She is not a team player.....not on Ben's team or Jack's. She works for her own benefit. The defining moment on Juliet for me, was when she had the gun on Kate. Sawyer looked her dead in the eye, and he knew that she would kill Kate without hesitation. That is something that should never be forgotten. I think she plays all sides. That is why she dropped the lines about "we should tell her, Jack". It plants a seed that she is the good cop and really wants to be forthcoming. All the while she knows Jack will keep the info to himself. I would be surprised if she has been completely honest with anyone on this island.

Ben being surprised that the tape player was gone doesn't point to anything really. Locke took it, gave it to Sawyer...Ben could've sent a message to Juliet as soon as he realized it was missing. "Juliet, they know you're a spy, go to Plan C " They always have back up plans. Like rehearsing her con with Kate. And Ben was very well rehearsed for his role as Henry Gale describing his balloon etc. Juliet is evil.

See, me too. That's why I wonder if those are the people Juliet was referring to on her video for Jack "Some of us want a change." Tom and Richard did not intervene in Locke's smack-down of Mikhail, even though Ben said for them to help.

I always thought it was weird that Ben (when talking of his beautiful plan to break Jack) desribed it as getting shot to sunshine. I thought the typical phrase was shot to hell.
