I think they will provide more info on this time period. There is more story to tell about Ben and Annie. Also there might be more to tell about Horace's influence on young Ben.
I feel pretty confident we will get this info, but may not be anytime soon.

I think at this point in the story Ben might be as much as thirty years older, but at the time of the purge and Horace's death Ben was probably around 19 or 20. I think they made and honest effort to make Ben(Micheal Emmerson) appear younger during the purge FB.
