Petty little questions you can answer?!?

I was re-watching "The Brig" last night and here are some annoying little questions I have. Please help me by answering the following questions for "The Brig"!

1. Why is Sayid digging a hole?
2. Why does Ben tell Locke he can say goodbye to Kate, but doesn't mention Jack or Sayid who are also at the camp?
3. An island that is close to where Naomi's wreckage story is (Bali) is the island of Timor, which used to be a Portuguese colony. Does that have anything to do with the a) location of the wreckage; b) why the monitoring station listeners and Naomi speak Portuguese?
4. What is the deal with Cindy and the kids, Zack and Emma?
5. Again, as mentioned in a previous post, why does Danielle need an entire case of dynamite?

2. Maybe Ben wants Kate to still trust Locke

3. Not sure... Is it a cold climate

4. I think Cindy was in on it and she is one of the only people that crashed with the kids so they stay with her becasue they think they can trust her...

5. She may want to try and blow up the sonic fence that held Smokey in..

2. He wants Locke to 'save' Kate eventually, so Kate needs to trust him
3. no idea
4. the kids were frightened with the Others, and asked that Cindy, who was nice to them on the plane, join them.
5. Danielle is Smokey, and can't pass through the sonic fence in smoke form, so she's going to blow up the whole damn fence.

Maybe Danielle saw John Locke hanging around the ship and wanted to get the dynamite cuz she was worried that he was going to take it. Or she just needed an excuse to go in the ship to see what was up.

In real life Rouseau is an admirer of John Locke, maybe it's the same on the island.... we do need more sex scenes.

Easy now, kiddos!!!!

I laughed so hard when Danielle came and went, taking Dynamite with her. It was by far, one of the most random moments in LOST.

Oh well, at least we saw her (it's been a while since we have).

And I love the theory about blowing up the fence, nice one

It was a cool moment. The two crazy people on the island meeting in a slave ship in the jungle, all nonchalant, "so what's up" "just getting a big box of dynamite, what's up with you?" "chillin, waiting for sawyer to off my dad" "cool, see ya around" "later"

2. Kate is left in the jungle with Juliet; Someone need to tell her they are leaving.

3. Dont know yet.

4. We dont know yet.

5. She makes bombs/boobytraps we have seen before (back in season 1) to protect her hideout. Maybe she just ran out of those.. besides.. why get one or two sticks out (with it being unstable and all) when you can carry a whole crate.
