Inner Conflict and Death

Uh-oh! I'm worried for James Ford. People on Lost who resolve their inner conflicts end up dead! Please tell me it's not going to be James!

Each time a character works out their problem, they die:
Boone comes to terms with loving Shannon.
Leslie Arzt gets over being a social outcast.
Shannon comes to terms with loving Sayid.
Ana-Lucia comes to terms with her murderous tendencies.
Eko gets over his doubts and accepts he only did what was necessary to survive.
Charlie might be due now because he threw the heroin into the ocean...AND...the ominous Vincent brought him to the heroin...AND...Desmond forecasted the death. (Lostpedia)

So James worked out his with his Anthony Cooper! Yikes! Say it ain't so...

I was totally thinking the same thing.. My Sawyer is going to die =( *weeping*

I was thinking that he is going to die if there is a raid on the beach to take pregnant women and they tried to take Kate he would get killed trying to save her... *weeping harder*

Oh no! They wouldn't kill Sawyer! I love Sawyer. If thats the way it goes, I hope Des does not resolve any of his problems while on the island.

It's not purgatory, don't worry, but it may be an ideal like purgatory that keeps the island going.
We've seen that Desmond is looping through his life until he gets it right, that's what i took from 'Flashes Before your eyes' anyway. at the end of this last episode, their is an odd line. Sawyer asks Locke if it "was true that you were a cripple' and Locke said.. "Not anymore"
Maybe now that Sawyer has removed Cooper from all of existence, he can go back and live his life correctly.

Don't forget Locke! he faced his demons and chose to kill in a style that charles manson would be proud of. Ithink he's the next to die. Remeber what eko said "you're next" dun..dun..dun..

Locke and Sawyer can't go- I mean, it was one thing to cope with Eko's death- hours of back-to-back watching to complete the grieving and move on.. I might as well go find the darn island, join Others and propose to Ben if Locke 'goes away'. We'll start our own book club where I'll read my favorites to him out loud --and nothing dry like Juliet's S.K. best-sellers either.

If I had to guess who's going by the end of this season I would NOT guess Locke - I do agree with you guys that Locke is central to the Lost story.
I worry the deadies are going to be Sayid, Kate, Charlie, and - for great fun and satisfaction - Ben! for this season's grand finale!!! That would shock us all.

I don't think they will kill Kate. She is the main female character, no way would they kill her.

That's what would make it such a shocker!!!!!!
