I couldn't quite tell for sure what is was or who he pulled up on his back right at the end of show, maybe he does have Ben. I can't see Locke lugging around his dead dads body.

Offhand, I would say that he was carrying the body of his dead father...as per the instructions that Ben gave him if he wanted to rejoin Ben's group.
