James Ford
James Ford, better known by the alias of "Sawyer", is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Sawyer's early life was ravaged by the con man who ultimately claimed both his parent's lives through conning them, instantly orphaning him. As a child, he wrote a letter to this con man, hoping to deliver it to him in person one day. Sawyer set out to search for him, presumably after he left school, however he, himself, ultimately became a con man and became the man he was hunting, became Sawyer. Revenge plays a big part in Sawyer's life, starting with the real Sawyer. On the island, Sawyer has often used his abilities to con people to get his wishes, and keeps a stash of useful items with him. However, after the death of the real Sawyer, he has begun to rethink his ways and is slowly turning into a leader for the survivors.
He escaped from the captivity of the Others with Kate, and has formed a relationship with her.

ok, this may be nitpicking, but just to be clear...Naomi's sat phone is NOT an Apple iPhone...it may have a touch-screen interface that looks similar to the iPhone's interface, but it is way bigger than the iPhone, and would be based on different underlying technology (satellite phones are not cell phones)
As for the time theories, there's certainly something going on that is related to time not being what we think it is...the producers have pretty much told us in the podcasts that there is something weird with time on this show. As to what it is, maybe the island is somehow outside of our reality...any fans of The Dark Tower will get where I'm going with this...think of the island as the Tower, which is kind of like a nexus of realities, and it is outside of normal time and space. I know, getting way out there...but the more theories, the better, right?

o.k. so you think staging this wreck is impossible, but you think finding an airplane that has lost total contact and changed course in the middle of the biggest body of water on the planet is more likely? the odds are better that I could win the lottery, buy a 777, and stage the wreck myself than somebody being able to find a plane 4 miles down in the pacific ocean, with no coordinates to start the search
|
Hahaha that’s too funny. Geez not even dinner? lol Well that’s why he owns his own company you don’t become rich giving your money away lol
No I don’t think staging a wreck is impossible. Doing it in 90 days yes. With the technology now in days and the growth of forensic science, scientists have the ability to uncover information off a dead body that is unbelievable (DNA, age, time of death, cause of death, and much more) So with due time the truth will be uncovered. So I do have a hard time swallowing the fact they staged the crash and got away with it. Temporarily maybe but forever no way.
I really can’t believe you have such small faith in the U.S government that you would think they would take a private companies video and word as an open and closed case. The U.S government is one of the nosiest controlling RICHEST governments in the world. Yeah they would hire a private company to dive 4 miles deep into the abyss and provide the government with info but trust me in the end the government has there own staff that will research and investigate what that private company found, they are not just going to watch there video and take there word and call it a day.
Wow I am astonish you all have such small faith regarding issue’s that involve investigations. One thing is believing the government has the capabilities to stage events and an other is believe they can be fooled so easily.
“With money and determination anyone can be found” One of the best lines in the show to date. But one better would have been
“With money and power anything can be done” Don’t ever mistake the U.S government for D.I
