Patchy was never dead!

Well seeing Patchy back in full form should come to no surprise. A lot of us said when he ran through the sonic fence that no one checked his pulse to see if he really died and we all noticed he was still breathing so proving he never died won’t be that difficult. Accoring o the podcast for this episode the writters confirmed he never died. I’m glad to see him back because I like his character he seems to be the only one who give 80% real info and 20% fake. But that 80% goes along way. I still can’t believe how they let him escape but like I said the Losties characters never make real life decisions so I shouldn’t be surprised. That’s why the show has been on for so long. I was really disappointed with the ending with Niomi telling Hurley that there were no survivors on 815. The writers already said they are not in purgatory so they only possible explanation is that the “Others” staged a fake crash so this is pointless. With so many other questing needed to be answered I thought it was gutless and unnecessary by the writers to throw that in!

From the preview for Wednesday’s episode it shows Jack speaking with Juliet about something they both know and are hesitant to tell the Losties. I hope they spill it out and not leave it as a cliff hanger. That’s going to be awesome! If anyone knows anything about this feel free to post your spoiler. I’m all ears

They continue throwing more questions and answering less. Have the guts to answer some important questions and stop giving us more questions.

I think Patchy had injuries which caused what appeared for him to be dead but the island's healing properties healed him and that is why he is back and why he said about Naomi that she would heal faster than normal and all... IMHO

Yeah I guess his injuries from the fence were not enough to kill him.
After seeing Par Avion for the first time I was firmly in the "Patchy is dead" camp. The blood spewing from the ears was what convinced me that he was dead, dead, dead. But turns out I was wrong, wrong, wrong. So seeing Patchy come running out of the jungle in DOC was a big surprise to me.

Does anybody think it is strange that Mikhail was still wearing the Dharma suit, I thought the jig was up! not much use wearing it to fool anybody now. Maybe he was trying to fool Naomi.

Gutless...I could not agree less. Some people see the glass half empty, some see it broken!
How about looking at is as a clue. Some of us welcome clues and thought it was a way to move the show forward.

As far as the healing properties of the Island it was confirmed again when Patchy told Desmond that Naomi was going to be healed in a day.

The fact that everyone is thought to be dead, answers the question of why they haven't been found. No one is looking for them. Well, that and the island seems to be hidden pretty well. I didn't think it was gutless at all, though I can see why you might feel that way. As for more questions than answers. They are, after all building to the season finally. That's all about big questions that won't be answered till next season.

No one has found the island, which has been broadcasting the frenchwoman's SOS for sixteen years.

That had nothing to do with whether or not the outside world is searching for Flight 815.

As for the island healing Patchy...what about Boone? What about that guy they pulled out from under the landing gear in the first episode, who might have lost his leg? Was he healed or did he die like the marshal? What about Jack's father's missing body--could he be alive now, too? Patchy not being dead opens a can of worms in my opinion.

They should have just left him dead.

Well I think certain people are supposed to die. I mean as Locke said Boone was supposed to be a "sacrifice" for the island. Why Was Ecko taken? Also it seems that anyone who dies from gun shot is def. dead. Shannon, Ana Lucia, Libbie, the girl Sun shot and the dude Juliet shot. Guns do seem to have a clear/cut death warrant attached to them, but death in other ways can sometimes be iffy or not final. hmmmmmmmm
