Thanks Wed... There is definately something going on with the P in Paik. It seems very familiar, from my days as an astrophysicist. It means something like 3 into 1, a convergence of time, space and a third component, I just can't remember what it is.

does anybody in here know about the I Ching? It has to do with those markings you find with every dharma logo that surround the image in the middle. In every dharma logo the circle in the middle is surrounded by I Ching symbols. in order from 12 o'clock going clockwise the symbols say 1.Li 2.k'un 3.sun 4. ch'ien 5.K'an 6.Chen 7. Ken 8. Tui. each of these symbols has four meanings 1. Li; name=clinging. attribute=light-giving. image=fire. family relationship=second daughter 2.k'un; name=the receptive. att.=devoted, yeilding. image=earth. family=mother 3. sun; name=the gentle. att.=penetrating. image=wind,wood. family=first daughter 4.ch'ien; name=the creative. att.=strong. image=heaven. family=father 5.K'an; name=the abysmal. att.=dangerous. image=water. family=second son. 6. Chen; name=the arousing. att.=inciting movement. image=thunder. family=first son. 7.Ken; name=keeping still. att.=resting. image=mountain. family=third son 8.Tui; name=the joyous. att.=joyful. image=lake. family=third daughter. so in the screen caps there is a symbol of the i ching on the sub, it is K'an. which you can see above, the sub lives up to it's name.

Since we all saw the fellow reading Hawking while guarding Carl, and I think Ben Linus had Hawking's book in his house, too, I thought this was an insightful and intriguing look at what could be going on here with Desmond, Naomi, and all our little island losties.

I was thinking about the I Ching thing. It has been used to predict the end of the world in 2012. Same as the Myan Calander. The Valanzetti Equation from the Lost experience was also used to predict the end of the world. Could there be a corallation here. Could it be 2012 in the rest of the world?
