Benjamin "Ben" Linus

Benjamin "Ben" Linus is the leader of the Others on the Island. Ben arrived on the Island as a child, brought by his father Roger to work for the DHARMA Initiative. Ben takes orders from Jacob, and is the only person who visits and speaks with him. Ben's apparent goal is to keep the Island and its special properties secret from the outside world, and he goes to great lengths to achieve this.

I don't think that Sayid is annoying, with all the character that don't ask questions to the others or new people I think he is a good balance to get information, sure he has made mistakes in the past but he seems like one of the only Losties that actually wants answers and is going to get them! IMHO
