i think that the island has a bubble or something like that round it so when plane or helicopters fly over it they crash

I think someone would notice a several mile wide bubble sitting in the middle of the ocean. I think we have to think outside the box here, take what the producers have said that it isn't, and look for clues within the show as to the location of the island.

2. Hurley says to Sayid the song could be from any time.
3 They moved Lost from 9 to 10, a new time.

I feel like this is like the Bermuda triangle and all these planes etc. seem to get warped toward it and then are never discovered again.

That has to be a theme(Bermuda Triangle). The producers said that it's not an alien planet, nor is it the past or future, and with a bunch of odd theories out there on the Triangle, I'm sure one of them is what they used.

I'm for that idea. I think that you can leave and come to the island, just be careful how you get there. Des's boat wasn't as bad because it was on the water,how Naomi got all the way in the jungle when her helicopter crashed in the ocean I don't know, but I don't want to be in the air around that island. Does anyone else think she wasn't alone?

It was a small splash.. i mean it could have been a part of the chopper, like we saw the plane break up, but it seeemd like they made the splash seem small. Usually in 'tv and movies, you see a vehicle in the water, and it sits there a while before sinking, that didn't seem to happen here. Plus, why do the trip alone!

What if there was a piolet to fly the chopper... And another question what is the range on a helicopter that it could make it to the south pacific?

I'm thinking that the helicopter was meant as a diversion/distraction and Naomi jumped out of a plane. Steered her parachute to the island. She snuck in Rambo style because they knew that they couldn't just fly a chopper in and land on the beach.

Helicopters don't have a big range in which they can travel and seeing its in the pacific it would have most likely come from a ship or a relatively nearby island.

We'll just have to wait for the pilot two answer some question.

P.S. I also think there will be another pilot.
