I think Juliet is educated enough in the medical field to know the difference between a fetal heart rate print out vs. a document that is intended to detect cancer. Unless a fetal heart rate print out can be used to detect cancer this is an error or her sister is a man. First the name on the folder says Rachel. I'm not much of a medical expert but her child should have her own folder/chart. Let’s assume it was her child’s info in her chart then the sheet should reflect all of the child info, where does Male/197 lbs fit in with the child? You don’t intertwine medical info regarding two pateints.This was a props error or she is a he.

By the way how in the world did someone notice this, my god talk about disecting the show huh. Great work!

I know - I'm a nerd! I can't help it. It's the Lost paranoia I've developed.... I'm not kidding... Juliet is upset - so here comes Ben - he knows she's going to want to go home - he just happens out onto the rocks overlooking the ocean carrying a sachel (on an island?) - Juliet wants to go home - how convient that Ben just happens to have her sister's medical chart with him in said sachel - he KNOWS he's going to have to manipulate her, because she's probably right about curing the island miscarriage problem and doesn't need to be on the island anymore. A sweet, set-up scene like that and I KNOW I have to have a look at the medical chart.

I don't think it is true, but Juliette's sister could have been a man and had gone through a sex change. That could be a reasonable explanation for her infertility and the hush hush of Juliette's success.

I understand what you are saying Cablerunner. I remember back to season one in an interview with someone of Lost, producers director, writers, or someone, and they were saying that all the props were very important, basically, not much was just there for the heck of it. I don't doubt that there are production errors, but I believe if the makers of Lost show you something they are doing it for a reason, they want you to take note - they are not stupid, they know fans go over every inch of the show with a fine-toothed comb.

This brings up the question that has been lingering in the back of my mind about a few episodes ago when someone said something about juliet's success they said that she had been able to get a "male rat pregnant." I always wondered what that had to do with getting a cancer patient pregnant. Why didn't she work on getting a rat with ovarian cancer pregnant or something like that. But then again, Ben did say that the chemo had destroyed her "reproductive organs inside" or something like that. so that sounds like a woman. Don't think she is a sex change.
