Juliet's Mission

Juliet is infiltrating the Losties camp, but is supposed to return in a week.Why? What is her mission? I am pretty sure it has nothing to do with Claire. The incident with Claire was a ruse to get people to put trust in Juliet. So what is she up to? It would seem to me that she must be there to get close to Sun. Is she going to secretly inject her with something or simply find a way to take her away in order to continue her research? Will she find a way to impregnate someone else?.....Kate maybe?

Well we do know that Sun is pregnant, so that may play a more important role now as well. But I think Ben really wants Juliet to gain everyone's trust. The scheme with Claire was meant to let Juliet do something good for one of them, so that she would be more accepted. I think Ben has a bigger plan, once they all trust Juliet. But I think that is the main mission, gain the trust of the survivors.

I think the important question is going to be did Sun get pregnant pre-island or on-island. If the daddy is Jae then the Others surely have that in her file (after hearing how specific the info is that they have with Sayid and James), but if the daddy is island-healed Jin then the Others MIGHT NOT have that information. Plus I still think it is significant that Juliet's research involved inpregnating male mice... maybe she's there to check out Desmond? He was injecting himself for a very long time with something.

How bout the miracle baby that was not suppose to be born? (Arone) She will kidnap him watch!

I think you are on to something here. At the end while building her shelter Juliet looked around at some of the losties and Desmond was one of them. Surely Des isn't pregnant though. That would just be too wierd.

Things look bad for Juliet. But I am still holding out that she will double cross Ben and really join the losties. I guess this doesn't look very likely. But hope is a dangerous thing to lose.

I think that she was sent in to check the place out... How is it gaurded. Is it gaurded? How many weapons do they have now? What is their location? Is there confusion among the group? Who is leading?

If you want to wage a war on people you gather intelligence about them and the current situation.. This would be my guess as to why she is there..

I wrote in another topic that perhaps, but not likely, Juliette's sister is a transexual and for her to get pregnant would definitely be something of interest to anyone.

Also, at this point, why would anyone wage a war? I don't see a reason, unless that comes to light in the next eps.

The important thing is that whatever she's gonna do, she's gonna do it within one week. I think that it's gonna be much more specific then simply gathering info, the Others could sneak around doing that with ease.

I think most likely scenarios are
a) Kidnapping Sun (as she is pregnant)
b) Kidnapping Aaron (as he is the first child ever to be born on the island)
c) Kidnapping Desmond (as he has the power to see the future)

Can't think of another one, but I have a feeling it'll be none of the above and something that no-one suspects in the slightest.

Wasn't Alex born on the island? and Ben?

I think Juliet stated that no-one has ever given birth on the island. As the others must have known this Ben would have been born off the island and brought there soon after his birth I suppose.
