Herarat Aviation

This was the name on the wall behind Juliette and Ethan when he was taking her vitals. What does it mean. Someone over at the Tailsection believes it is an anagram for Earhart(as in Emilia)Aviation. I think that is a definate possability. It also may be something simpler though as in Her A Rat. Refering to Julliette as the spy. Any thoughts?

I like the Earhart idea better than her a rat. I read a theory at Lostpedia that the older woman at Juliet's book club could be the actual Amelia Earhart.
Her a rat isn't much of an anagram, not even scrambled. I think they would have came up with something better. Like maybe Eastharts Aviation where Easthart would equal she's a rat.

Okay, I think it's an anagram to Earhart - a reference to missing pilot amelia earhart. And remember that she wasn't flying alone... she had some guy with her as a co-pilot - so wonder if Amelia and that other guy are the Adam and Eve skeletons? OR because time passes differently on the island is the elderly woman at Juliet's book club (whose name is Amelia) really Amelia Earhart? And because of Amelia's mysterious disappearance I was talking with some friends and one of us remembered that Glenn Miller mysteriously disappeared - they never found any bodies or wreckage from his flight, and his Moonlight Serenade is what is playing over the radio when Hurley is talking to Sayid about the radio and "the music could be coming from anywhere "(says Sayid) "or any time" (says Hurley). AND Moonlight Serenade is playing in Jack's car while he is stalking Sarah and her new beau. Glenn Miller was flying from Paris I know (not sure where he was heading England or the USA)... so maybe the same thing (according to the show) happened to him that happened to Yemi's Nigerian drug plane - that caused them to end up on Lost Island.

Great job, Earhart is perfect. She may be the one who pointed the original others to the mysterious flying entrance to the island, by accident of course, and now she's stuck there, and they use the entrance now, and named the place they take off from after her. Good catch. And we know Juliets a rat, so it answers two questions.

Herarat Aviation is the airline company that Juliet was led to believe would bring her to the location where she would do research for Mittelos Bioscience. It was introduced in "One of Us" and is presumably located in the Portland, Oregon area. In the air terminal Richard Alpert and Ethan Rom administer to Juliet a tranquilizer mixed in a glass of orange juice that she knowingly drank. Later she wakes up on the submarine, and is already at the dock next to the Island.

Herarat is a heteronym of "her a rat", signifying that Juliet was indeed working with the Others and not left behind as she claimed.

Herarat may also be a reference to Mount Ararat, the biblical resting place of Noah's Ark after the Flood. The Hebrew word for Mountain is "Har," making the proper name of this mountain "Har Ararat."

Herarat is an anagram for Earhart, Amelia Earhart was a famous pilot who disappeared under mysterious circumstances over the Pacific.

Herarat Aviation is an anagram for "a variation Earth".

I thought of Mount Ararat, too. But had no idea how to connect it. LostPedia did that for me.

Of course you would prefer not hearing that Juliet is a rat, but she is... Oh how she is. and since we know ethan was a rat. we can see the attraction. and EWWW by the way he is a cromagnon man. how anyone ever let him be thier doctor is beyond me.

Cable, Cable, Cable... Earhart perfect? perfectly content on an island? i think no.

lets see. Her heart's passion was to fly, fly everywhere, fly around the world and yes ... not be on the ground for too long, if possible. I see her joining a book club and being just fine with it extemely far fetched. especially since she was a strong, independent, driven, woman and she would have wanted to fly off, use her plane radio... etc...
