That would be very, very clever. Almost Ben-like, in fact.

Like me? thats nice. but i think you meant the ole Henry Gale switcheroo. and yes Locke is defintely infiltrating. He is no Micheal. he wont leave our Losties.

And if I were Locke, every time Ben talked to me, I would think, "Once burned, twice shy."
Remember that Locke was devious enough to hide all that money from his father's lockbox in a different bag in case the drug guys followed him--which they did.

Locke is a very smart man. and He is also now become UBER in tune with the island both from his walking abilities aswell as the hatch implosion/teleportation he experienced and the peyote he took in the sweat box to find ecko and the polar bear. So he like you said got burned once... by henry gales like and trickery. twont happen again

Or Locke who snuck into his room and kidnapped his daughter. Or Rousseau who will shoot him very soon, for 17 years of deception. Nothing manipulates like a bullet.

exactly. the same ruse. now flip flopped.
More on the Locke Coming out thing... and no its not about his sexuality... Locke knew about the security cameras and such. he has planned to infiltrate thier soceity.. so he will start behaving and assimilating. They could obviosuly hear him in there so he knew he couldnt tell Kate his plan. but he could go in there and lead the people listening to his conversation to believe that he was actually comming over to thier dark side.
