Paulo was one of the middle section survivors of Flight 815. Before the crash, he and Nikki Fernandez murdered Howard L. Zukerman and stole his diamonds. They spent most of their time on the island searching for these diamonds to the exclusion of almost everything else. A bite from a Medusa spider induced a death-like paralysis in Paulo. He subsequently died as a result of being buried alive while paralized.

I've heard that when Claire was in Ethan's "care" he implanted a bug or device of some sort with which they can make Claire ill. I've heard that Juliet goes to the lostie camp to take care of Claire, and someone - I don't know if it is a Lostie or Juliet says to someone- "now you're one of us"

I almost think I can remember feeling a little different. But if I'm not the same, the next question is, Who in the world am I? Ah, that's the great puzzle!'

Yeah! The fact that Cassidy (who is a Sawyer-flashback character) is appearing in a Kate-centric episode is very intriguing to me. In the thread about city-connections there is a lot of overlap between Kate and Sawyer, so I 'm wondering with this latest episode tomorrow if they will show that Kate and Cassidy are friends, or some twist like that.

Just finished it (37 minutes ago) and it's quite a good one!
Here's my spoiler:
Spoiler for Spoil Me Baby!:
The monster does return - and apparently has quite an allergy to sonic fences that run around weird villages.
And, may I add:
Spoiler for Spoil Me Bad, I Love It!:
Juliet doesn't appear to know what Smokey is either...but the fence was clearly erected to keep it out.
