Nikki and Paulo stumble upon the Pearl and see Ben & Juliet..
They find the Pearl hatch..
They keep one of their radio's..
They come across the beach craft before Boone dies in it!

Why not speak up.. Just because she wanted her diamonds?

I guess that is the line of reasoning. If they tell the losties about their discoveries then someone is bound to ask what they were doing out in the jungle. And so one lie becomes a web, so they just thought it was easier to say nothing.

This is kinda shaky though cause why not just say they were exploring the island. Seems like that would be simple enough.

I hope that we find out that Paulo or Nikki or both were in contact with the others via the walkie talkie and their reasons for keeping secrets are because of the others manipulation.

You know thinking about one of the flashbacks they showed, where Jack gives his speech and says We can help each other, or die alone, it makes sense. Paolo and Nikki were out for themselves and that sort of sealed their fates.

At least Nikki has her diamonds now... LOL

Yeah, these two were not team players....that is for sure. They didn't even work well with each other! Every man/woman for themselves didn't work out so well for them in the end. But they did get what they wanted I suppose. Paulo got to keep Nicki close to him, and she got to keep her precious diamonds. They both got what they wanted and what they deserved all at the same time.

Excellent point BabyYo - They didn't want to live together with the others, so they died alone. But I am with Wednighter on the weirdness of noticing/finding all of these things and not mentioning them - ESPECIALLY when the losties thought that the others were coming for Claire's baby and so the A-Team went out to blow the little Swan hatch - why not say we found a huge looking hatch with a working ladder that everyone could fit it and be safe.

That and if you over hear a conversation between people who are watching your people and then have their radio and don't say anything.. Our losties would not have been captured... Ana Lucia & Libby may not have died... So much would have been different

So it may be entirely possible that many of the other locations around the Island that we have complained about not being searched or discovered...........have been, but just never been told to us.

In the next few episodes, we may find that Nikki and Paolo, and possibly some of the other Losties have indeed stumbled across these things and not shared them with anyone else. There are over 40 remaining Losties, right? And we've met how many?

No one has been back to the Black Rock? The four-toed statue? The cable? Found Rousseau's transmitter? Gone to the tail section? The Balloon? Who really is Henry Gale?

So many questions, and so little time.
