Where are the kids?

The Others apparently have shown or told Jack where all the people who were taken are, and Jack feels they are safe. WHERE ARE THEY??? Kate couldn't ask that one last question.

Kate was in a game room, the prob have a daycare setup in one of the other builidings.

When the "others" left the alcatraz sized island did the kids come with them? There was two boats I think, one that was already off shore then the smaller boat ben, juliet, and jack were on. The kids could have been transported on the other boat already off shore I suppose. We know Alex came with them to the barracks, she is considered one of the children, I think. We don't know much of anything about the barracks, there could be underground areas, or the kids could be discussing a harry potter book in their own book club next door to where Kate and Jack were talking. It's pure speculation with a phrase like "they are safe"

if the kids are having their own book club, i hope their not using the oven unsupervised while making muffins, or they'll burn their little hands.

Speaking of books... the same book that Aldo was reading was sitting on Ben's coffee table, the Steven Hawking book about black holes.

I noticed that too! I really want to read that book now. I don't know how much I'll understand, but it's got me interested.

The kids are "safe". They are not being physically harmed anyhow. They are being assimilated into the group so that they too can be part of the perfect society of others. I am pretty sure that they won't be watching any Brady Bunch reruns. Or...here is another thought....
Maybe they are the "hamsters" that are on the giant wheels that are generating the electricity...hmmmm.
