Default Locke and the Sub

So I may need to re-watch this part to confirm, but if I remember correctly, Locke was not wet when he entered the sub, but he was soaking wet after he left the sub and was being held at gunpoint on the dock. Why was he wet? He didn't need to swim to get to the sub to enter it, why was he in the water after he left the sub? Could it possibly be because he moved the sub away from the dock somehow, swam back, and faked blowing it up? Not sure if he would know how to move a sub, but either way, why was he so wet?

Maybe, He could have also blown something on the sub he new he could later fix. He has clearly used c-4 before so he now it's strength and weaknesses.

I didn't notice that he was wet.
He just looked dirty and sweaty.

Yeah, he was soaked like he was in the water...and the sub looked like it had moved from being along side the pier to the end of it when it blew...so if Locke knew how to move the sub, and we dont know how long he was there, maybe he didnt blow the sub afterall...??

I just figured that he moved the sub away from the docks and had to swim back to land....(?)

I guess I need to rewatch it.
I totally missed him being wet...
But now that I think about it the sub did look like it was
farther away from the dock.

Dang it Logan... now i have to go watch it for a third time. I did notice he was wet because the camera shot panned up from his pants to his face. I thought maybe he put the c4 under the sub so no one could stop the explosion last minute, BUT>>>> maybe he was in navy and knows how to drive a sub...

He did say to Ben "After all you know I was a commander in the Navy" usually you would say "For all you know, I was a ..." I guess it depends on how you interpret that "After all, You know I was in the Navy" or "after all you know, I was in the Navy" meaning 'for all you know I could have been in the Navy'. He was totally soaked which I thought was odd. If he didn't really blow it up...the Others would be able to find it pretty easy don't you think? He couldn't have moved it very far.

He was wet. Maybe he attached the c4 to the outside of the sub, so that there would be a hole in it.Then it would sink, and he moved it out(how I don't know) so that it would have the ability to sink deeper as opposed to messing up the inside which could be fixed. Then was already wet and swam back to the dock.
