Contradictions in Claire's Flashbacks

I am to present a well constructed argument detailing contradictions in Claire's flashbacks. Season 1 episode 10 - Claire upon finding out she was pregnant, some 8 months before the flight took off: "My mum would disown me". Claire's boyfriend : "She basically has already." Some time later when Claire is seeing the psychic, Claire's friend: "She hasn't told her mum yet, we're afraid she -"

Yet in the most recent flashback, set some time before her pregnancy we find her mum in a coma, all the way up until she is pregnant and presumably after as well.

I can think of only three explanations.

A : One is that she finds out at some point between the two flashbacks that her mother is not who she believed she was and is instead someone else, possibly her aunt. This is incredibly unlikely, especailly as in this episode she calls her "mum" when talking to the lady in the coma.

B : She has lied to her boyfriend and friend about her mum's condition to stop them from finding the truth, possibly because she is embarrased that she was driving when the accident occured.

C : The writers f**ked up.

HAHA! Didn't even catch that, how odd.

I think that even though her mom is in a coma she still cares what she thinks.. She was worried that this news would upset her mother is she could know... She did end up telling her mother she was pregnant... I think that it was meant more figuratively than literally... For the set up... She also said to the Australian couple that she wanted them to sing a song to the baby because it is what her father sang to her... She didn't remember Christian but he did do these things... Remember it is a big deal to tell your mother your pregnant at a young age... This must have been even harder on Claire being the fact that her mom was in a coma and by telling her she was not going to know what her mom thought about it.. If she would have been happy or upset..

Claire said to Sun "sometimes we don't turn out the way our mums want us too"

Another explaination could be this.....
Claire has not accepted her mothers true vegetative condition. She still speaks about her as if she were in the same mental condition as before the crash. They were arguing in the car before the crash and possibly Mum was angry enough to be disowning her at that time. Or the boyfriends reference of "she already has" is referring to her current state of coma. Also if you notice at the end when she visits her mother she speaks to her as if she can hear. Such as "did you have a nice nite?" and I haven't told you yet but I should have before now........etc. She was not living with the reality of the facts.

Didn't she also say she would watch these nature shows with her mom, making it sound like they were doing it together, not saying while my mom was in the hospital I would watch these nature shows.

Yes she did not think of her mother as gone by any means..

maybe her mother miraculousy came out of the coma and disowned Claire for being a bad driver. Well the cop seemed to think there was more to the story of the accident like Claire and her mom were fighting and Claire was driving like a crazy woman and her mom was screaming for her to slow down and Claire was all 'No, I'm going to kill us!' and laughed maniacally...What was I talking about? Oh yeah, or maybe Claire was on drugs. My point being that mom came out of coma and had a falling out with Claire.

That is negative. The first flashback showed Claire as soon as she FIRST found out she was pregnant saying "My mum would disown me" yet the second flashback was while she was pregnant, so obviously after, with her mum in the coma. Unless her mum came out of a coma and then back into one? No. Just no.
