Rousseau... An Other??

I've heard somewher that the French Lady 'Rousseau' maybe one of the others??? Or she use to have strong connections with them! Thinking back to some of the old eps. I cant really see that happening, But after watching ep. 'ENTER 77' there was a couple of incidents that got me thinking..........
First off, she did'nt want anything to do with patchys Crib & tried to scare Locke,Kate & Sayeed by telling them they were not all gonna survive!
Secondly, Near the end of the 77 ep when Sayeed threatened Patchy & told him he did'nt need him for directions because he had found a map, Patchy is just about to say something when Rousseau Puts a gun in his face.
It would also explain how she knows so much about them & why she has never been captured considering there is only one of her & a whole army of the others who are also supposed to be highly skilled at hunting & moving through the forrest without leaving tracks!
I know there's also many reasons pointing towards her not being one but anything can happen in the next Hour!!

She definitely knows much about them, but it doesn't seem like she could be one of them. Imagine what a twist that'd be though!

I have had suspicions about the french lady all along. She seems very strange, and reminds me of Locke in her rogue, loner, survivalist ways. I thought it was strange when she delivered Ben to Sayid. If she truly thought she caught one of the others that stole her child from her, wouldn't she have tried to torture him herself to find out what he knew. If she was going to turn him over to Sayid to torture, wouldn't she want to be around to ask the questions about her daughter? Something does not make sense with this lady at all.

Yeah Frog......... The more i think about her the more i'm starting to dis-trust her! There's so much about her that is suspect & really dont add up! Like how she got there & the group she was supposed to be there with, where are the bodies? I'm thinking she might have actually been one of the Dharma group? But if not, did she get there before it was all supposed to have kicked off between Dharma & The Others, Because i think it was round about the same time.....
I still think that Dharma had a big part in the sickness/illness theory & tried using the contageous plague to combat the others!
If i were Sayeed i'd be interegating her for all she knows!!!!!!

I think it's much more likely she is a weird loner survivalist then one of the others or DHARMA. The reason she didn't want to go into the house was because she really fears the Others, so much that she has done everything to avoid any contact with them. And really, Sayid was shot straight away so she was right.

Her methods seem a bit weird, to keep to herself all these years, avoiding the Hostiles at all costs, paranoid etc. But I think it's more probable that she is a lone survivor and somewhat derranged then to believe that EVERYTHING, literally EVERYTHING she's told us is a lie. She's already mysterious enough without it ALL being a cover.

We really can't even imagine what it'd do to a person living alone all those years in fear and grief. I highly doubt she's one of them.

Well I don't know if I am completely sold on the fact that she is an other... I think that she has 1st hand witnessed a lot of the others/hostiles/dharma and knows quite a bit more than she is telling us...

What I do not understand about her is the fact that she would not go all the way to the black rock with the losties but did show them where it is... She had no clue what the hatch was and wanted nothing to do with it... She would not go into the flame with the Losties..

BUT, she does go into the staff hatch with Kate & Claire in Maternity Leave... The one hatch that was abandon... Did she know this and that is why she went or just exactly why did she agree to go into the 'staff'? Something else to ponder or discuss =)

There is something odd about Rousseau.
I think that 16 years ago the others took Alex and were about to kill Rousseau. However is made a deal with them and the others said that you can live on the iland as long as you ever come looking for Alex. So thats why i think Rousseau has not been to a lot of places on the iland

I think she said it pretty much herself when she said "I have no interest in this man" about Mikhail. I think it is integral to her character that she would rather avoid any confrontation that is un-needed, unlike the 815s who are in comparison EXTREMELY curious. The reason she went into the medical hatch with Claire and Kate is because she thought her daughter might be there, or clues to her daughter.

So she went in looking for her daughter but when Kate asked her why have not asked me any questions, her response "I don't want to know the answers" then she goes into the fact that if Jack would not remember Kate in 16 years, not know how much you cared for him... ect..

The curiosity part... Well Tom made referance to that too.. Curiosity is what makes us human or something like that then he said you know the other saying about curiosity.... I assume he was referring to "curiosity killed the cat" or something like that...

I see what your saying, just trying to figure out the french chick gives me a headache.. LOL
