I have enjoyed many of your posts and thoughts up until this point. When you attack another poster like this, it makes me not want to read another word you have to say. I hope you re-think the way you choose to disagree with another poster in the future. There is never any reason for personal attacks to express your own ideas and opinions.

Do we have difinitive evidence that Mikhail was an Other (with Ben, Juliet, Tom) or a Hostile?

I think (from the Dharma perspective) they are all "hostiles". Mikhails link to Ben and Tom is Bea. I think the only true Dharma Initiative person we've seen so far has been Kelvin. Ben's camp may include people who had ties to the Dharma Initiative, but at some point a faction of the D.I. decided to go in a different direction. There was a conflict and the "hostiles" won.

What about the hypothesis that the survivors of the Black Rock Slave Ship are now populating the island and they are the hostiles. Has anyone heard that theory floating around? I've also heard a rumor that there are a group living basically underground (not in the hatches though). Anyone heard that?

The guy on the films is definitely Dharma.

This is kinda out of left field but I'm really tired and it sounds good right now... Could Kelvin have been one of the others... They could have known something crashed on the island and sent someone to investigate... Then he was to make Desmond believe he was part of the DI and take post so to speak of pushing the button... Kinda so it was in the back of their heads that the button had to be pushed... Then when Kelvin was caught by Desmond he was supposed to take the sail boat back to the others?
This would tie in with at first Patchy introducing himself as DI

This could show that there have not been any DI on the island for some time... Or that the others are DI and not saying so

I am tending to lean towards this line of thinking. Kelvin was ex military must like Patchy. He was deceptive about the dangerous air outside, so as to keep Desmond in and pushing the button. I think he intended to fake his death all along so that Des would continue to stay in the hatch and push that dang button. The only thing that gives me pause about this theory is......
Ben wanted Locke to stop pushing the button, Kelvin wanted the button to continue to be pushed. That indicates two different agendas to me. I am still thinking that we have two warring groups and neither of them are Dharma. DI was possibly caught in the middle of an already existing war just as our castaways are now.

I was thinking Kelvin wasn't actually Dharma either, just manning a post for the Others like Mikhail was.

Groovy then... Maybe I need to get less sleep more often =)
