You are NOT on the list because.....

"you are flawed. You are angry, and weak and frightened."

This is what Patchy told them when asked to explain his comment about the list by Kate. I noticed he looked at Kate when he said "flawed" then made direct eye contact with Locke when he said the word "angry" and looked in Sayid's direction when he said "weak and frightened". I know that Jack is also not on the list as one of the others said in the "I DO" episode. As the series has progressed we have seen Locke become increasingly more angry and secretive. In the past couple of episodes his whole demeanor has changed. One thing I am not sure of, I know Mikhail told Kate and Sayid that they were not on the list, and couldn't even understand it. Did he ever actually say that Locke wasn't on it?

The passengers that were taken from the beach were on the list, correct? They were given "a better life". Jacob's little list is certainly going to be crucial to this story.

I know something there didn't seem right to me.... He did say to Kate and Sayid that he had never seen them before but he had seen John Locke but the John Locke that he saw/knew (???) was p...... This is where Danielle intrupeted him..

Where would he have known him from?

Soooo many lists; so little time?
1. Goodwin and Ethan were to come back with lists for Ben in 3 days
2. Hurley was making a passenger list and then got the plane list (manifest) from Sawyer and learned Ethan wasn't on it.
3. Bea Klugh had a list of 4 names (Jack Shepherd, Kate Austin, James Ford, and Hugo Reyes) which Micheal was to bring with him if he wanted Walt back. btw - Michael didn't know who James Ford was.

5. The list mentioned by Mikhail (could this be Jacob's list?)

Did Sayid and Kate and Locke introduce themselves with sir names at the Flame? If they didn't how did MB know their last names? Interesting how Mikhail said NOTHING about Danielle (and you, Danielle Rousseau, are a crazy woman wandering the jungle)

I think he knew all of them (hence the last names), he was just going to say more about Locke until he was cut off. I think Benry's people all know about them (at least their names) and who they are, some more than others perhaps.

I'm starting to think that Jack may be on the list. He has the potential to be a leader, in fact it comes naturally with him. And it seems that they want people with special abilities, leadership, etc. I don't know, just thinking out loud...

Jack not angry? I think he's just as flawed as the rest of them. Wanted to save everyone, issues with dad, troubled marriage that ended in divorce (and possibly stalking).....

Jack has to "fix" something all the time..

if we are talking about Jacob's list, then Jack isn't on it (at least according to Danny Pickett - in the episode "I do" Danny said that he didn't understand why Ben was trusting Jack, because Jack wasn't even on Jacob's list)

Kudos Logan for remembering that! So which list is it? Who's the super-organized/obsessive person with all these lists? Is that what all the binders are for?

I wonder if somehow one of our "losties" will come across this "list" and figure out what the "others" are doing... That would be cool.
