Sun-Hwa Kwon

Sun-Hwa Kwon (née Paik ?) (Revised Romanization of Korean (RR): Baek Seon-hwa, McCune-Reischauer (MR): Paek So(n'hwa) is one of the middle section survivors of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815. She was traveling on the plane with her husband, Jin-Soo Kwon. Their marriage has been very unstable, on and off the island, mainly due to Jin's controlling and violent nature and also because of Sun's many secrets that she will go to great lengths to protect even if it involves hurting others e.g. the maid in "The Glass Ballerina". She is currently pregnant with Jin's child, and according to Juliet the pregnancy will kill her in two months like every other pregnant woman who conceived on the island.

Locke has always had his own agenda and that has never changed. Even when Frenchy women told him the others were coming and everyone was in danger is priority was to go down and explore the hatch rather than go back and keep the 'Losties" safe overnight. During S1 Locks first instinct was never to help them but rather teach self awareness and influence the "Losties" to face their fears. Since then Lock has become stranger and more distant as if he wasn’t enough already.

I just can’t get over the whole Tom and Lock connection. I hope this gets answered in the next episode.

This is something I hoped would come up in conversation, after taking the C4 some kind of rewiring would need to be done in order for the whole thing to work. and locke dosen't seem to have that kind of know how. Or does he, I guess he could of hidden it all along.

I think you misunderstood what I said, I said Tom LOOKED a lot like the guy at the commune where they grew pot, not that he was the same guy. They are two different actors.

Ben had a field day with Locke because he knew Locke wanted to "believe". Ben seemed to enjoy toying with Locke time and time again. I believe the reason why they Locke isn't on the list is because he is useless to them rather than because he's flawed.

Locke is like a kid in an amusement park. He is curious about all the attractions and wanders around aimlessly. He has no plan and he's too dumb to realize that messing up other people's plans will be detrimental to everyone, including himself.

I completly agree,Locke is just looking for something to believe in, and is very young in his approach to trusting people.

I don't know... I think we have been giving him too much credit as one of the good guys... At one point he seemed like a leader.. Now the more we see him the more bad things are going on around our Losties... He did not hesitate for a second before he took off after bringing Boone back from falling in the plane.... He took an intrest in Walt and his capabilities.. This in itself seems odd... He said to Michael when Walt was practicing with the knife... He is a special boy, he should be allowed to discover his full potential on the island... This seems to be some of the same things that Bea Klugh was saying to Michael... He drugged Boone with the goo so he would see whatever... This after he knocked Boone out and tied him up... Not to mention the fact he knocked Sayid out when they were trying to triangulate the distress signal... What good has he done for the Losties?

I also don't think that these facts should be discounted to the fact that he is curious and it just happens... He is just too neive..

Also when Sayid asks Locke why he came... Is it for Jack... Locke responds "why else would I be here?" This just didn't strike me well since he says this right after they find the C4 in his bag.. He rarely went with to help people or search parties... He mostly did his own thing.

I don't think Locke is someone who has bad intentions. He helped Charlie with his drug addiction problem and he seems to care about the other people on the island.

Let's face it, most of them have lied at one point or another. Locke may think that he's no longer looked upon as one of the leaders. Kate and Sayid are taking charge and most of the other people aren't as dependent on him as they used to be. The less time that he spends taking care of them the more time he spends on his fairytale theories.

Very Cool Tessa Thanks for the link!!! I DO NOT Trust John Locke, I know someone in this forum said it before... A tool or pawn if you will does not need to know it is being used! Guess what LOCKE is a TOOL.. I think the only reason he wants the submarine is to sabotage that as well... I don't think he is one of the others, but he does not want anyone getting off the island either!
