James Ford

James Ford, better known by the alias of "Sawyer", is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Sawyer's early life was ravaged by the con man who ultimately claimed both his parent's lives through conning them, instantly orphaning him. As a child, he wrote a letter to this con man, hoping to deliver it to him in person one day. Sawyer set out to search for him, presumably after he left school, however he, himself, ultimately became a con man and became the man he was hunting, became Sawyer. Revenge plays a big part in Sawyer's life, starting with the real Sawyer. On the island, Sawyer has often used his abilities to con people to get his wishes, and keeps a stash of useful items with him. However, after the death of the real Sawyer, he has begun to rethink his ways and is slowly turning into a leader for the survivors.

He escaped from the captivity of the Others with Kate, and has formed a relationship with her.

I Cant see a connection with the hatches demises but as you know with this show........... & As someone said, "Lockes Computer privalidges should defo be re-assessed!" The man's a walking (Passive) Disaster, I dunno about Hurley but 'Bad Luck' defo follows him around!! & as i'm at it....... Where the hell's Bernard?

I am willing to bet that the glass eye found in Season 2 inside the chest at the bunker were Ana Lucia and the tail surviors found belongs to Patchy. How funny is that huh

I'm with Tekneat - where are Rose and Bernard? In the epi where Bernard asked Rose to marry him she said she had a daughter, but the daughter died. I've wondered if her daughter was Bea Klugh. After par avion where Claire thought her dad was dead, but he wasn't, I don't trust Lost with the word "dead".

maybe that ture that rose's daugther is bea
However she is dead now.
The thing with pacthys eye is that he might of worked in the hatch that ana found and then moved to the flame.
That shows that they knew since the beginging of season 2 that there was going to be patchy and the flame.
That shows the the lost writers are the best.
