Mr. Eko
Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

Frustrating! Exhilarating!
A great episode, I won't spoil anything, but there are some new clues and at least one shocking development in this one. The mystery deepens, and we do learn some interesting things:
In spite of the frustration of yet more layers of mystery, this was another great episode and one that surprised me. When are we gonna see Smokey Control Center, how come there's never any cool science stuff around? If all these experiments were done how come they involved only these hatches equipped with 70's furnishings, 70's computer equipment, underground relay systems. But somehow they spawned genetically enhanced polar bears, monsters made of organic smoke, and a bunch of weirdos living in their own personal Waco? Just how weird were these DHARMAns? Not to mention the singularity hovering over their Island...

Frank: It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.
Jane: Goodyear?
Frank: No, the worst.

LOVED IT! Not just because it was a Sayid heavy epp. Yes, that is a major part. I liked the ping pong game, and the fact that Sawyer has to go whole week without nicknames. I think blowing up the flame is going to set off some big time changes in the story and I was glad to see the story move forward. Good stuff!

Great episode! I felt like it was season 1 or 2 all over again with all the computer-button-pushing-others-pretending-not-knowing-funny-sawyer-stuff.
I haven't posted since this second part of season 3, but after watching this episode about Dharma and all the secrets, it made me think of the Summer of '06! So I had to sign online to see what everyone is thinking!
Also, we purchased a HDTV LCD flat screen TV a few weeks ago, along with my local free High Def channels, this was the first time for me to see everything in HD! SWEET! Too bad my DVD burner can't pick up HD
Next weeks episode looks to be the same feel as this one was with the mysteries of the island. Maybe thats why I love this show so much, there is sooo much mystery that hasn't been explained and I like using my imagination for once, to predict....what...is...next.
The time slot I don't care much for... Our second son was just born Feb 9th, and I am very tired after 10pm
