Rose Nadler (née Henderson) is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. She was on the plane with her husband Bernard, but was separated for 48 days following the crash. Rose is a well-meaning, caring woman who was supposedly healed from her fatal illness after arriving on the island, similar to Locke.

I notice that the character named "Mikhail Bakunin" will be featured in the upcoming episode.
I'm not sure if any of the following is considered "spoiler" or not, but just to be safe...
Spoiler for Possible Spoiler:
Lostpedia.com lists "Mikhail Bakunin" as the character commonly referred to as "Patchy." Interestingly, this is yet another reference to a philosopher (i.e. Locke, Rousseau, Hume, Burke...). Mikhail Bakunin was a Russian Revolutionary and is one of the "fathers of Anarchism" according to wikipedia (Mikhail Bakunin) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. I'm still not 100% convinced that each of these historical figures necessarily tells us something about their corresponding characters, but I think its very interesting. Any thoughts?
I posted on this a few weeks ago, but nice catch nonetheless.
So what do you think it means?

Frank Drebin remembers a lost love.
Frank: It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.
Sorry about that. I did a search and didn't find anything, but (now) I've searched again and I see your post. I must've misspelled his name the first time... I was surprised that no one had mentioned it yet (ha!).
I'm not sure what it means (maybe we'll figure it out tomorrow), but I think a few things are interesting:
Spoiler for possible?:
- The real Bakunin spent time in exile in Siberia. Could Patchy currently be in some sort of exile? We don't know if he's currently alone, do we?
- After exile the real Bakunin became a revolutionary. Maybe Patchy was working for Dharma, but will now turn against them, or against the Others, or whomever it is...
- Anarchism - maybe Patchy is not going to be willing to take orders from anyone - quote from Balkunin "The liberty of man consists solely in this, that he obeys the laws of nature because he has himself recognized them as such, and not because they have been imposed upon him externally by any foreign will whatsoever, human or divine, collective or individual."
I'll be sure to read through all of your posts tonight.
Thanks
When I watched the preview from last week in slo-mo there was a whole lot of patch man kicking butt and getting his butt kicked in return. I think you have a point with that "father of anarchy" stuff.
