Remember when Hurley fell asleep at the Hatch and he dreamed about his manager dressed up in a chicken suit? The dream sequence also had Walt's picture captioned "Have You Seen" on the back of a milk carton.

Jin was there and then suddenly the manager was, too. While Jin and Hurley talked in Korean, the manager (in the dream) just stared straight ahead and when he blinked his eyes, there was a beeping sound like the countdown timer...and then Hurley woke up.

Could the manager's appearance been a kind of foreshadowing? A Shakespearean nod to Banquo's ghost in MacBeth? It seems to make a little sense, now that we know the manager of the Chicken Hut was killed by a meteor and Hurley feels responsible because of the numbers.

I always wondered why the manager was in that dream sequence.

I don't think the manager was killed....just the news crew

He went inside with them "to give them a tour."

Hurley stayed outside with the other employee (the one standing by the van).

The Manager was not in the dream sequence, the man in the chicken suit was the same guy who sold Hurley his lottery Ticket.

Randy was Hurley's Manager. Randy from what I remember did survive. Him and Hurley exchanged a chilling look after the meteor blew up, or atleast so I remember.

...but if the guy in the chicken suit is the convenience store guy who sold Hurley the ticket, why is he in the chicken suit?

This means I still have to wonder about that.

Don't we all. Though the most logical explanation for him being there would be uhh, I do not think there is one.

By the way, the manager's name was Randy Nation. In Stephen King books the devil walks among us and uses the name Randall Flagg. Flagg = Nation. I know it's kind of a stretch, but could the Producers be hinting that Hurleys manager at the Chicken hut was the Devil incarnate. That chicken probably was very high in trans fat.
