Mr. Eko
Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

It was also playing at the beginning when Cheech and skinny-Hurley were trying to fix their car...perhaps Daddy-Hurley was actually on the island, working construction over those 17 years on the road?????

Wouldn't that blow Hurly mind to pop the tape out of the deck and find some kind of marking on the tape belonging to "dad".

Well despite your thuoghts of stranger in a strange land I was loving the Jack episode... I also loved this one. I will not compare them as they dealt with different needs, issues and characters who are also dealing with thier different needs, issus and obstacles.
I wil agree that i cheered aswell when the van started... and then took a shot. its fun to think of people in thier respecitve houses arocc the states either cheering simultaneously or in 3 hour interval of eachother..!!!
And the song was dope!!!

I truly enjoyed this episode.
But I have to respectfully disagree that "nothing happened".
This was perhaps one of the most important episodes because it is so pivotal.
Except for Jack, ALL of the remaining Losties are FINALLY reunited, including Alex's French mother, what's her name Rousseau.
And it seems that all of the Others will be returning to their normal habitat.
The Losties can have a FULL EXCHANGE of information. Everyone will know everything that has happened. A clear and well-thought out plan of action can be conceived and implemented.
Questions can finally begin to be answered.
Believe me, I griped more than most about the slow pace and seeming lack of direction that show has displayed of late.
It seemed as if the writers and producers were over using "anticipation", getting everyone's panties wet for what they claimed was going to happen next, but forgetting that we need, no, demand the counter part of "satisfaction".
And you had better believe that I am over due for some satisfaction from this show!! And the trailer for next week's show is definitely looking promising. But I've been used before.
